Program Description

Group based, process-oriented and woman centred program, designed to involve clients in developing their goals. Models used are biopsychosocial, CBT, first stage trauma treatment, including stages of change and harm reduction principles. Holistic program offering group and individual counselling in a variety of approaches (process, education, psychodrama, creative expression, etc.). Pregnant women are given priority access to services.

Access Information

One bed is designated specifically for pregnant women in Central East LHIN. Pregnant women will be considered a priority for access to the remaining beds available at the Women's Residential Treatment Program. Abstinence-based with the exception of methadone and prescribed psychotropic medications. Financial assistance for transportation and/or childcare may be available.
