Program Description

Bio-psychosocial and cognitive-behavioural treatment model used in individual and family treatment. Individualized goal setting and harm reduction strategies provided in office or at a school. Choices is based in Owen Sound and provides outreach to high schools in the following communities: Chesley, Flesherton, Hanover, Kincardine, Lion's Head, Meaford, Port Elgin, Walkerton, and Wiarton.

Access Information

There are other forms of assessment, beyond the MOHLTC-approved standardized assessment tools, required to access this program: bio-psychosocial narrative assessment. Appointments booked through site #2 (in Owen Sound). Family members of substance abusers, parents, and children of alcoholics served individually or as part of family.
