Program Description

Addiction Supportive Housing (ASH) is affordable transitional housing that provides opportunities for individuals with a long-standing problem with drugs and/or alcohol to stabilize and establish connections with the community.

Homeless Clients

Access Information

Eligibility Criteria include being homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or inadequately housed. Individuals will be ready to make a commitment to a long-term program to set goals for a healthier life, which include working with an Addiction Outreach Counsellor and will be interested in living independently and making positive changes in life. Clients must have a legitimate source of income and be eligible for rent support. Other criteria include past or present involvement with an addiction service or program. We are not able to consider those experiencing an unmanaged serious mental health illness or acquired brain injury. An assigned counsellor will provide ongoing assessment, treatment planning, support, life skills, advocacy, and referral to other community resources.
