Case Management/Supportive Counselling & Services - Addictions Supportive Housing

Program Description

The goal of this initiative is to increase the health and social outcomes of people with problematic substance use who are frequent users of the addiction treatment system and emergency services by providing stable housing and appropriate support services. We use a harm reduction approach to service delivery. All tenants will be supplied with a one-bedroom apartment and the support of an Addictions Counsellor. Services provided include supportive counselling, life skills teaching, crisis prevention and intervention, recreational activities, group work, and support from our psychiatrist, nurse and trustee.
