Program Description

The purpose of the Outpatient Concurrent Addiction Treatment (OCAT) Service is to provide an accessible, comprehensive, individualized care pathway for clients with severe and complex addictions, including concurrent disorders. Goal of treatment is to stabilize clients sufficiently that they are able to be transferred to community supports without significant risk of relapse. Treatment is primarily group based and integrates a variety of psychosocial, medical and harm reduction approaches. It is provided in a staged manager, with comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning throughout the different stages of treatment.
