Residential Treatment - Addictions

Program Description

Structured program. Treatment models offered are the holistic approach, cognitive-behavioural, therapeutic community-milieu therapy, and multidisciplinary. Attend AA/NA, one meeting per week. Abstinence required. Random drug testing. Ongoing assessment during treatment. Clients can go home on weekends as part of discharge planning. Length of service is up to 10 weeks, depending upon the individual. Length of program is four to ten weeks.

Clients who reside within Waterloo, Wellington, Dufferin contact Here 24/7. Clients who reside outside of Waterloo, Wellington, and Dufferin may contact the service directly. There are no other forms of assessment, beyond the MOHLTC-approved assessment tools, required to access this program. Must be substance free 72 hours prior to admission. Intake/screening appointment made. Physical examination required before admission. TB test also required.
