Program Description

Our mission is to help people who are dependent on drugs and alcohol become clean and sober and improve their quality of life through education, self-awareness and counselling. The treatment program runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 12noon. The program runs Monday to Friday all day for 4 weeks. The program helps the individual to understand the effects of chemicals on your life and relationships. We will help you to learn about yourself, feel better about yourself, and develop coping skills needed to recover. Treatment includes group therapy, one-to-one counselling, family sessions and assignments. We provide an introduction to the 12-Step program used by support groups in the community. Your regular attendance at meetings of AA, NA, or CA is encouraged during your treatment. This program is sensitive to, and will work with groups of diverse racial-ethnic backgrounds.

Access Information

The MOHLTC-approved standardized assessments are provided in-house for individuals being referred to external substance use treatment. Individuals must be committed to abstinence and must be committed to making necessary lifestyle changes. Individuals must attend all components of the program. Individuals must have stable housing.
