The Addiction Programs of CAMH offer a full range of outpatient, day, residential and aftercare clinical services. Most of the treatment is offered in a group format, although some outpatient treatment is available on an individual basis if this is indicated or requested. Following a comprehensive assessment, which is the first step for all new clients, individuals may be referred to one or several programs. Although some of the programs are of brief duration, many clients either choose or are recommended to participate in several different programs concurrently. All programs within the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health offer aftercare opportunities in order to make the transition from one phase of treatment to another as easy as possible.
