Humber River's Mental Health and Addictions Program is an internationally-recognized leader in providing comprehensive services and a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment approach to care in the community. Incorporating psychiatrists, nurses and therapists from varying professions, the HRRH Mental Health Team is comprised of leading experts with extensive experience from around the globe. Designed to meet the diverse need of our community, our continuum of care includes crisis and inpatient services to children, adolescents and adults, and adult outpatient services, treating both mental health issues, addictions and more. Humber River is one of the first hospitals in Canada to establish a model of care that meets the needs of psychiatric patients who also require care in several other departments throughout our hospital.
